Saliba’s Pharmacy visited the Pima Medical Institute in Tucson on May 12 and May 18 to explain the benefits of working at a closed-door, long-term care pharmacy to its students. Saliba’s employees Adriana Moreno and Mariah Melendez described the positive differences compared to a retail pharmacy. They touched on the many opportunities at Saliba’s and how leadership encourages employee ideas to generate innovation. At Saliba’s, each staff member’s individual skills and abilities are valued and regularly evaluated to ensure they are in a role where they can be successful.
