Our customer liaisons, Cathy Wieneke and Desiree Negron, organized and hosted a ‘Cocoa and Crafting’ event during the holidays at Paseo Village, one of our assisted living communities. The team provided crafting supplies to allow residents to make holiday cards for their families and friends. Fellow teammates Ericca Jones, Cody Nabors, Nancy Williams and Jennifer Nabors assisted them with the event.
The residents were able to let their creativity flow as they decorated and wrote notes on their holiday cards. Participating in artistic activities can help keep the mind busy, connect with others and create a feeling of joy during the holiday season. Eager to share their creative projects with family and friends, residents and Guardian staff felt a strong sense of accomplishment and pride at this event.
The residents thoroughly enjoyed the craft project and the hot cocoa and toppings. The Saliba’s team loved hosting the event and spending time with the seniors.
