Wilmot Pharmacy would like to welcome Mary Sotelo to the team. Mary is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University. She has over 16 years of experience in acute care hospital nursing and quality management. She joins our team of nurses: Jan Meirick and Misty Pagan. Mary will be focusing her efforts in the Tucson and Southern Arizona areas, while Jan and Misty transition back to primarily serving Maricopa County and Northern Arizona.
Previously, Mary was the coordinator of an orthopedic program at a local Tucson hospital. She managed an interdisciplinary team of patient and family centered care for recipients of hip and knee replacement and spine surgeries. Mary brings extensive clinical knowledge and a whole-hearted commitment to world class service to her role at Wilmot Extended Care Pharmacy.
In her free time, Mary enjoys being an active member of her church. She serves as clinical coordinator for the church’s medical mission team. She was recognized in 2009 as one of Tucson Nurses Week Foundation’s “Fabulous Fifty Nurses” for her active involvement in the community as a mentor and volunteer. Mary also enjoys listening to music, sunset gazing, and spending quality time with her husband, grown children, and granddaughter.
