Lora Reynolds, a nurse account manager at Saliba’s Pharmacy, attended the 104th birthday celebration for one of our community’s residents, Vivian Brikferd, on August 31. The event occurred at Broadway Mesa Village with Fox News and other media present for this milestone celebration. Vivian is an extremely independent, active senior who is ‘sharp as a tack,’ according to Lora. Her spryness is attributed to the daily walks she takes to visit her many friends at the community. Vivian provided each guest with a candy bar personalized with her photo, a thank you for coming to her party and the Lord’s Prayer affixed to the back.
Vivian maintains her longevity in life is due to her faith and stated that the secret to her long life is simple – “if you believe that Christ died for your sins; God will know it if you really mean it.”
